A Tanner Family Visit

Last weekend we had a great visit from Ma and Pa Tanner as well as Riley and Caley. It was very exciting to have my parents see the new house for the first time. They were both so instrumental in the house searching and home buying process and it was great to finally share the results with them. While giving my parents the tour of the new house, they were both surprised at the layout. It definitely wasn't what they pictured from the photos we posted online. They both loved what they saw and were excited to see the color we already have up on the walls.

Ruby had an excellent time with Riley and Caley. The three of them went on plenty of walks, played in the pool and lounged around on the cool tile floor. Ruby even received her early B-day gifts from my parents and had
a great time playing keep away with her new toys.

Jeff and I would also like to send my mom a huge thank you for bringing up her sewing machine and helping us hem our new shower curtain. With the corner tub style that we have, it really works out well to have a shortened curtain. With the extra fabric, my mom was even able to sew a table runner for our new four-box drawer set. It worked out great! My dad also gave us the great idea of how to hang up our neutral paint chips to help narrow down our results. Using my dad's idea, we are now down to three neutral tones to choose from. We're getting closer!

We had an awesome time having the Tanner family come to visit and we hope to have them back up here again soon!
