Monster Jammin'

Last night, Jeff, Marissa, Aaron and I went to the Metrodome for some edge of the seat action. We had the most amazing seats for the Monster Truck show. It was a ton of fun and we saw some amazing stunts. Some of the classic Monster Trucks were there like Maximum Destruction, Blue Thunder, and Grave Digger. Grave Digger made quite an entrance by showing off during the opening introduction and flipping his car within the first two minutes. Out came the CAT tractors to flip him back to right side up.

The first half of the show consisted of time trials for all of the Monster Trucks. The trials continued until the top, fastest car was named. Some of the newer monster trucks we saw were Brutus, Captain's Curse, and Batman. Captain's Curse had the best paint job, but Batman had the best fiberglass body.

The second half of the show consisted of a panel-judged, freestyle event. This is what everyone comes to see. During this portion, the trucks jumped over tons of cars, a double-decker bus, two huge dice, and even a mobile home. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I have to give a shout out to Marissa for offering Jeff & I these tickets. We had a great time!
